Lilac Dreams | Fine Art Greeting Cards
THE PHOTOGRAPH’S STORY
An afternoon among the lilacs.
At a favorite spot in North Idaho, some of the most beautiful lilacs I'd ever seen were alive with swallowtail butterflies. I photographed Lilac Dreams at the same location as Butterfly Dreams, a year apart.
Watching the butterflies float from blossom to blossom, surrounded by brilliant color, was one of those simple pleasures that makes me grateful to be outdoors with my camera. Even the smallest creatures can make an ordinary afternoon feel extraordinary.
I couldn't help thinking this butterfly must have felt like it was in heaven.
THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE CARDS
My love for handwritten cards was inspired by my Grammy and the simple joy of staying connected through the mail. In a world of bills, advertisements, and endless digital messages, I believe we all deserve to open our mailbox and find something thoughtful waiting inside. These cards are my little way of keeping that tradition alive—one handwritten note at a time.
ABOUT THE ARTIST CARDS
Each Buffalo Dreams Artist Card is a little piece of the American West, thoughtfully created to be shared, treasured, or framed. Featuring my original photography, each 5 × 7 folded card is printed on beautiful 100% cotton fine-art paper, left blank inside for your personal message, and individually signed. Every card comes with an embossed envelope and a bison wax seal, hand-stamped by me for a unique finishing touch. Available individually or in thoughtfully packaged sets, these cards are made to order with care.
