I don’t approach photography as something to control. I go out, I observe, and I respond to what’s happening in front of me. I’m less interested in forcing a moment than noticing one when it appears.

I’ve always been drawn to movement—both in landscape and in life. The outdoors, especially the mountains, lakes, plains, and open spaces, is where that feels most at home. A beautiful moment captured simply lights up my soul.

For years, I worked in spaces that kept me inside. I got disconnected from the world around me and took a lot of that beauty for granted. Picking up my camera again became a way back—a reason to explore, to pay attention, and to reconnect with a life that felt more grounded and real.

Buffalo Dreams Studio came out of that time in my life—having the courage to get back on my own path, trusting my instincts, and believing that what I see and have to share matters.

What draws me in is sensory: texture, light, movement, and the feeling a place holds. The wind through grass or fur. The warmth of the land. The quiet details that give a moment its presence.

Photography holds moments that become part of how we remember a life, a connection, or something we’ve built. Celebrations, turning points, and quiet in-between times often carry more meaning as time passes.

Whether it’s a person, a place, or a fleeting moment, my goal is the same: to capture something real enough that you can feel it.
