Small bird. Big personality.
I had never seen a Rufous hummingbird until I moved to Idaho. My Grammy had always loved hummingbirds, but I had no idea these brilliant orange little birds existed. Photographing one quickly became something I was determined to do.
Rufous hummingbirds may be small, but they're loud, territorial, and not at all shy about defending their feeders. This little guy seemed to be addressing every other bird in the neighborhood: ‘I’m talking to you. Stay away from my feeder. This one's mine.’
Some of the smallest creatures have the biggest personalities.
THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE CARDS
My love for handwritten cards was inspired by my Grammy and the simple joy of staying connected through the mail. In a world of bills, advertisements, and endless digital messages, I believe we all deserve to open our mailbox and find something thoughtful waiting inside. These cards are my little way of keeping that tradition alive—one handwritten note at a time.
ABOUT THE ARTIST CARDS
Each Buffalo Dreams Artist Card is a little piece of the American West, thoughtfully created to be shared, treasured, or framed. Featuring my original photography, each 5 × 7 folded card is printed on beautiful 100% cotton fine-art paper, left blank inside for your personal message, and individually signed. Every card comes with an embossed envelope and a bison wax seal, hand-stamped by me for a unique finishing touch. Available individually or in thoughtfully packaged sets, these cards are made to order with care.

- The Art: Original Buffalo Dreams Studio photography, individually printed and signed by the artist.
- Card Size: 5 × 7-inch folded greeting card, blank inside.
- Paper: Moab Entrada 190 gsm, 100% cotton fine-art paper.
- Envelope: One hand-embossed envelope included per card.
- Wax Seal: One bison wax seal per card, individually hand-stamped by me and fitted with an adhesive glue dot for easy application. Because each seal is handmade, slight variations and imperfections are part of its unique character.
- Packaging: Single cards and 4-packs are individually sleeved. 12- and 24-packs arrive in kraft display boxes with one extra envelope per box—because mistakes happen.
- Pack Options: Individual designs are available as singles or packs featuring the same photograph. Variety collections offer an artist's-choice single, a 4-pack with one of each photograph, a 12-pack with three of each, or a 24-pack with six of each.
- A Little Extra: One complimentary Buffalo Dreams Studio sticker is included with each order, while supplies last.
Artist Cards arrive unframed but can be displayed in a traditional 5 × 7-inch frame. Whether sent as a handwritten note or kept as a small piece of art, they're designed to be enjoyed and treasured.
- Made to Order: Each Artist Card is printed, signed, and prepared to order. Please allow 5–7 business days for production before shipment.
- Packaging for Shipment: Single cards ship protected in a sturdy kraft mailer. 4-packs are shipped in protective mailer packaging appropriate to the order. Boxed 12- and 24-packs are carefully protected for shipment.
- Shipping Rates: Standard shipping is calculated at checkout. Complimentary standard shipping is available on eligible orders of $75 or more within the contiguous United States.
- Combined Orders: Orders containing made-to-order Artist Cards and in-stock products may ship together once the cards are ready. Transit time is additional.
Because Artist Cards are made to order, please contact Buffalo Dreams Studio before requesting a return or exchange.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact the studio promptly with photographs of the product and packaging so the issue can be reviewed and resolved as appropriate.
